Stuart Harris Consulting is led by Stuart Harris who works alone and/or can bring the assistance of colleagues of similar experience depending on the type and scale of engagement. Originally from the UK now US based, Stuart is a senior Sourcing Executive with international experience in IT outsourcing consultancy and delivery.
As President of SHC, Stuart has worked over the last 10 years with multiple clients and service providers. He has provided short term strategic advice and also led multiple different deal teams through complex sourcing projects. Stuart is a proven outsourcing thought leader with the presence and experience to drive overall projects and their complex negotiations to conclusion.
A long history of transactions in traditional IT outsourcing has broadened in recent years to include other forms of contracting such as a developing hotel lock vendor contracts to support a Digital Key initiative plus support of a prestigious university as they changed vendors for their OPM solution. . Stuart has worked at a senior level as both a service provider and as a client retained consultant. He is experienced in both IT infrastructure and applications outsourcing markets, has been used on multiple occasions as an Expert Witness in IT contract disputes.
Prior to forming SHC, Stuart was a Partner and Leader of the Data Management Practice for TPI (now ISG), where he worked for nearly 10 years. Stuart has 25 years of industry experience in total during which time he has worked on all aspects of the sourcing life cycle, including both the client and supplier sides.
